Songs Looking for a Home

Written to Be Heard

Every song here started on a barstool or a tour bus, in a green room or a kitchen at 2 a.m. They've been played for 15,000 people and for the bartender and the barback. Now they're looking for the right voice, the right scene, the right moment.

Douglas writes in the American grain — blues, roots rock, country soul, and the spaces in between. He's an amazing acoustic guitar player, a rocking rhythm guitar player, and a melodic soulful lead player.  And he wreites great songs.  If you're an artist looking for material, a music supervisor hunting for something real, a trustworthy band looking for a guitar player from Texas, or a label scouting for the next record, let's talk.
